Geovane Rivas of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 29, leaving family, friends, and the community deeply saddened.
Known for his warmth and generosity, Geovane's presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his memory continues to inspire love and kindness.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Vicente Rivas and Trancita Guzman, his aunt Emma Rivas, and his uncle Jose Rivas.
Geovane is survived by his parents, Jose and Silveria Rivas of Naperville, his sibling Lupita Rivas (Nick Kettman) of Naperville, and his cherished pet Shadow.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home in Naperville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
